Fairy chimneys and Ihlara
A weekend in the rocky valleys of Cappadocia and the quiet trails of Ihlara.
Review the program and price.
Two different durations, two different travel rhythms. We've brought together options for those who want to see Ihlara Mountain and the fairy chimneys in a short trip, and for those who want to add Konya to their Cappadocia itinerary.
Compare programs ↓The two-day Fairy Chimneys and Ihlara tour is for those who want to see the valleys and rock formations with a short break. The three-day Cappadocia to Konya program expands the Central Anatolian journey to include the area around the Mevlana Museum. When comparing total duration, look not only at the number of accommodations but also at the journey time to and from the Aegean region.
While hot air balloons are a symbol of Cappadocia, a flight is a separate activity depending on weather conditions; don't assume it's included in the tour price. Hiking terrain in Ihlara and other valley stops can vary depending on the season. Comfortable shoes, sun protection, and layered clothing for cooler mornings will make the trip easier.
Departure options from Kuşadası, Aydın, İzmir, Manisa, and Denizli are shown on the tour pages. The exact boarding location and time for each departure point must be confirmed with the agency for your chosen travel date. On the program pages, please review the price per person, as well as the type of transportation, length of accommodation, and included services.
The shorter route is 2 days and 1 night, while the route via Konya is 3 days and 2 nights. The travel time and the stops you wish to see will determine your choice.
Do not assume the hot air balloon flight is included as a service. Confirm the current schedule, flight conditions, and price before booking.
