Compare programs ↓A short flight through the GAP region takes 4 days and 3 nights; Şanlıurfa, Mardin, and Gaziantep are the prominent stops. The bus route through Mesopotamia takes 7 days and 6 nights and allows for more time for the journey itself. Don't measure the time difference solely by the number of cities: the daily pace, long layovers, and accommodation plans also change the experience.
In Şanlıurfa, the Balıklıgöl area and its connection to Göbeklitepe, in Mardin, stone architecture, and in Gaziantep, culinary culture are topics that visitors frequently inquire about. However, the list of stops is not the same for every tour. Check the day-by-day program of the relevant tour to ensure it actually includes the places you are interested in.
